Program Description:
RETV is a new series for Public Television that exposes the positive side of Hip Hop. It presents in depth looks at the genre of Alternative Hip Hop and those artists who leave sex, drugs, alcohol, violence and profanity out of their music.
Through artist interviews, and organizational profiles RETV will examine Hip Hop’s positive influence on our youth and urban communities. Coupled with music videos and comedic skits, RETV will provide the entertaining aspect of Hip Hop that captures the attention of youth and adults ages 15-35.
